Stratford Municipal’s vision is to promote golf and family recreation. Stratford Municipal Golf Course is accepting applications for the position of Manager of Operations effective March 26th, 2012 (seasonal – full time). Please click here for a job description.
Located in picturesque Stratford, Ontario the Stratford Municipal Golf Course offers an excellent recreational 9 hole golf course with an active mens, ladies, seniors and junior membership.
As a successful candidate you will have strong leadership, organizational and customer relationship skills and be responsible for managing clubhouse activities as well as operation and maintenance of a 9 hole public golf course. Experience in sales & public relations are a definite asset. The ideal candidate will have experience in horticulture and/or golf course maintenance and be familiar with irrigation systems.
Manager’s tasks include scheduling, assigning tasks, employee training, developing maintenance programs for turf equipment & reporting. A combination of education, training & experience will be considered.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Members are eligible for a $25.00 referral rebate for bringing in a “new member” (max. $100.00/season). A new member is defined as a person that has not been a member for the past three years. Memberships can be purchased at the Stratford Rotary Complex, 353 McCarthy Road, Monday thru Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm, until the course opens in the spring.
