Leisure Activity Council

Welcome to Stratford & District Leisure Activity Council.

The Stratford & District Leisure Activity Council is a volunteer association of organizations and individuals which offer and/or support leisure, recreational, and educational activities/programs.

Members of the Stratford & District Leisure Activity Council are:

A major provider of leisure, recreational and/or educational activities/programs OR
A provincially registered non-profit or not-for-profit organization or a government agency that offers and/or supports leisure, recreational and/or educational activities/programs OR
A citizen at large who supports leisure, recreational and/or educational activities/programs.

Goals of the Council are as follows:

To support a variety of activities for the benefit of the community.
To inform the community of events planned, individually and collaboratively, by its members.
To provide a forum for its members to share program information, resources and explore areas of mutual interest.
To promote the concept that physical activity, educational opportunities and community involvement are vital to a healthy and vibrant community.
